What Is Reiki?

"Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that uses universal (or source) energy. This energy supports the body's innate healing abilities. Practitioners access this energy, allowing it to flow to the body and facilitate healing. Reiki is a gentle, noninvasive holistic energy healing system that yields powerful results for the body, mind and spirit.

Reiki energy has several basic effects: it brings about deep relaxation, removes energy blockages, detoxifies the system, provides new vitality in the form of healing universal life energy, and increases the vibrational frequency of the body. Reiki puts the client into a very relaxed and meditative state. This allows the bodies' energy to move freely. Reiki provides many of the same benefits as traditional massage therapy, such as reducing stress, stimulating the immune system, increasing energy, and relieving the pain and symptoms of health conditions."*

Elizabeth Rose Chacon is a Reiki Master Practitioner. She is proud to share this form of relaxation with her students and their parents/caregivers as well as anyone else who would like a session.

Reiki Sessions can help with stress and anxiety in both children and adults. Caregivers, parents with or without special needs children, workaholics who need a break, or anyone who wants to relax can benefit from a Reiki Session.

Reiki for children on the Autism Spectrum involves quiet play time, Reiki music while Elizabeth shares Reiki energy with the child. This can be done in home or at an office prepared for children to play and rest.

Reiki for teens/adults on or off the Autism Spectrum. The client can lie down fully clothed on a Reiki Table, a bed, or on the floor, relax and allow Elizabeth to bring healing energy to serve the their highest good.

During the session it's quiet with only Reiki music played softly in the background. The session lasts about an hour.
